Sunday School

Starting off each fall with a Cross-generational Rally Day, our Sunday School serves students ages 4-grade 12.  Classes meet at 10:15 am on Sunday (September-May).

The mission of our Sunday school is to instill in the children of our congregation a love for the stories of Scripture. Even more than that, Sunday School is a means of passing on the faith by helping students get to know God in Jesus Christ.

Vacation Bible School

For one week each summer, students grades preK-6 are invited to Vacation Bible School. Through a variety of activities, projects, games, and lessons students get another opportunity to learn more about Jesus and what he is doing for us.

Students in grades 8 and 9 participate in our confirmation program. Classes meet on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm (September-May). Through confirmation instruction students develop a deeper understanding of our Lutheran tradition through the study of Luther's Small Catechism. In addition to catechism instruction, confirmation also includes a number of service opportunities for students, teaching them the role of service to our neighbor in the Christian faith.

Adult Education

There are a number of opportunities for adult education. Adults participate with our high school youth during the education hour on Sunday mornings. This study focuses on the scripture texts read in worship that morning.

On Thursday mornings (7 am) we have a study focusing on the readings for the upcoming Sunday.

Periodic Sunday evening studies focus on books of general interest to the congregation.
